Mitchell J. Weaver, President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Sun Gro
Mr. Weaver joined Sun Gro in June 1997 as President. He led a major reorganization effort focused on increased profitability. As part of this effort, the business was decentralized into individual profit centres, corporate overhead was reduced and sales were targeted to the professional growers market. Prior to joining Sun Gro, he worked for Weyerhaeuser Company for 16 years. During his time with Weyerhaeuser, Mr. Weaver worked in a number of successively more senior management positions. His last assignment with Weyerhaeuser was as General Manager of the packaging operation in Salinas, California, where he was responsible for all aspects of the business, with annual sales in excess of $100 million. Mr. Weaver graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts in Education.

Bradley A. Wiens, Vice President – Finance and Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Wiens joined Sun Gro in 1996 as Vice President, Finance. This position encompasses the financial, credit, investor relations, personnel and information technology functions of the Company. Prior to joining Sun Gro, Mr. Wiens was employed in a financial capacity at affiliates of Penwest, Ltd., a U.S. publicly traded specialty chemicals business. He is a CPA with ten years experience at Ernst & Young. Mr. Wiens graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science.

Clarence Breau, Vice President – Eastern Region
Mr. Breau joined Sun Gro in January 1987 as Bog Operations Manager for Manitoba with responsibility for bog development and harvest. He has been Operations Manager for the Eastern Canadian Region and in May of 1997 became Vice President, Eastern Region. Prior to joining Sun Gro, Mr. Breau spent 10 years as a worldwide sales manager with Tardif Equipment, a manufacturer of specialized and customized peat equipment.

Robert Sytsma, Vice President – SouthEast Region
Mr. Sytsma joined Sun Gro in 1986 as a District Sales Manager, has held various other positions with the Company and in May of 1997 became Vice President. Prior to joining Fisons plc, he spent three years with Castle & Cooke, a large agricultural grower, as a Sales and Marketing Manager. Mr. Sytsma received his Bachelor of Science in Horticulture in 1982 from California Polytechnic State University.

Mark Spong, Vice President – Western Region
Mr. Spong joined Sun Gro in October of 1998 as Vice President, Organizational Development and in December 1999, became the Vice President, Western Region. Mr. Spong was with Weyerhaeuser Company from 1985 to 1998. He received his Bachelor of Science from the United States Naval Academy in 1970.

Kirk Johanson, Vice President – Central Region
Mr. Johanson joined Sun Gro in November 1987. During Mr. Johanson's tenure at Sun Gro he has occupied positions as a District Sales Manager, Technical Specialist, and most recently a member of the Central Region Leadership Team as the Regional Sales Manager. Kirk was promoted to the Central Region Vice President position in December, 2007. Kirk is a graduate of the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champain.
